Unique Places worked with the Harris Family in North Carolina’s Franklin County to preserve their 3,200-acre family farm with a combination of forest and farmland easements.
Unique Places developed a master plan—including stream restoration, carbon offsets and a developing Sustainability Campus––for protecting this 5,500-acre farm located near Fayetteville, North Carolina.
Unique Places worked with the N.C. Coastal Land Trust to help the Whitehurst family preserve a significant portion of the 1,600 acres they own near New Bern, North Carolina.
